you know the control panel that has the option to add or remove programs? what if you click remove and nothing happens??
Sometimes you can’t remove a program if some of the files are missing, or corrupted. You can try to manually remove the files associated with the program. Or you can go to Google and try to find a utility to clean up your drive. There are a lot of freeware programs out there, unfortunatly I can’t think of the name of any right now. You could also try to reinstall the program to see if that “fixes” it so you can uninstall it.
you can also check and see if there is a unwise.exe or an uninstall.exe (or .bat) in the directory where your software is installed. Try launching one of these and see if it works. Other than that, try some software to do it for you.
You can install the program again & see if it has an uninstall option. Be easier if we knew what program this was, what computer & what operating system.
I deleted a program and then tried to uninstall it, but couldn’t. Someone told me about a piece of freeware (IIRC) called jv16PowerTools and that did the job.
If you have deleted a program (or parts of a program) it may be simpler to just reinstall the thing right over the top of the old copy. After that you can usually uninstall it , taking both the old and new stuff out.
