KILL my BonzaiBudthing.

I have Windows98. I know nothing about computers. My wife installed some kind of Navigator/Companion program.

This thing is annoying as HELL!!!

Even she admits it must go.

So I deleted it from the desktop. And it came back.
So I dumped my recycle bin. And it still showed up.

Can one of you tech types help me kill this SPAM with wings?

Please help this clueless clown.

deleting the icon off of the desktop is not going to delete the whole program.

if you want to remove it completely, you can either go to the add/remove programs feature in control panel and uninstall it using that, or you can use the program’s own uninstall utility which may be included with it, which will most likely be located in the program folder under programs from your start menu.

Thank you very much.

That seemed to do it.

You are the best.

Ahem. My two cents worth.
We had 95. Upgraded to 98. Hated it.
Hated it, hated it, hated it.
Tried to uninstall it.
It would not uninstall.
Repeat, it would not uninstall.
Took it to a serious computer person, who charged $125 to basically show us what a “restore” disk was and how to use it. Duh. :o
Now we have 95 back again, and we are happy.
Happy, happy, happy.
The end.

See TechChick’s rant over in the pit.
