Conan O'Brian -- Swear Word that is not a Swear Word

What was the made-up swear word that Conan O’Brian used to promote on his show? I think it started with a “K”.

Was it krunk? I seem to remember him using that, but I didn’t think it was a swear word.

It indeed was Krunk, you krunkin’ krunker.

Damn, that word has been entertaining me for almost a decade now.

It’s like what Krusty the Clown once said: It’s not the dirty words that are funny, it’s the words that sound dirty—like “muckluck.”

Krunk’s kinda like that, imho.

Does that predate the the word “crunk” as used in rap lyrics? As in “Ah ha, hush that fuss / everybody move to back of the bus / do you wanna bump and slump wit us / we the type of people make the club get crunk.” (OutKast, “Rosa Parks” 1998)

That’s the earliest instance I know of, but there’s probably others from before that.

** Howie Reynolds **: “Krunk” goes back to about 1993 or '94, I think. Sometime around there.

And **Major Kong **: I know I’m new here, but KRUNK YOU for double-threading this, you krunker.

Wasn’t the police officer in West Side Story called “Krunke”?

They all say in unison at the end of a song, “Hey, Officer Krunke, Krunk you!”

As I recall, when Conan rolled “krunk” out, he had Salt-N-Pepa use it in a little clip, saying something like, “Let’s krunk all night long.”

Nope – close but not cigar – it’s “Gee, Officer Krupke, krup you!”

Officer Krupke , I believe.
