Confess your obscure and geeky crushes from TV

I’ve said this before, but in my dreams, Ron totally gets to hit that.

In high school I had a crush on Snake from Degrassi High. He’s good-looking in the new series too.

I wouldn’t doubt it. Even for “Doctor Who” standards, he was a lame actor.

Lemme also add Grant Goodeve from “Eight is Enough”, real cute even though at the ripe old age of 9, I winced whenever he sang that soppy song.

Gloria Dinallo from The Misfits of Science

Sarah Jessica Parker from Square Pegs; not so much from Sex and the City.

World News now was (is?) on ABC. They were great. When they had their financial reporter come on from London, they kept a count at the bottom of the screen of the number of double-decker buses that went by behind her. One night they gave the hockey scores multiplied by pi. And every Friday there was the World News Polka.

I must not have watched during Thalia Assuras’ time on the show. I remember her from the news segments on the morning show on CBS, which may have led to your confusion. You’re right, though, major babe.

The thread about the Anne of Green Gables prequel reminded me that Megan Follows was wicked cute.

Who me? Geeky?
erin the e-surance babe

Myndy Crist. I don’t think she’s ever had a lead role but she’s done one-off guest spots on seemingly every popular prime time drama (most memorably, for me anyway, as a heart patient on ER and a cheating wife on House).

Old school Janine Turner - i.e. Maggie O’Connell on Northern Exposure and not the current actress of the same name who has had some mind-numbingly bad plastic surgery.

Ah, you’re right. I remember now that they announced the ABC News motto as “More insomniacs* get their news from ABC News than from any other source.” They would put up a watermark-type image of two huge, wide awake eyes behind the logo sometimes.

*for those on unseen foreign shores, the actual motto at the time was “More Americans get their news…”

Flight Cpl. Rigel on the original Battlestar Galactica. Hawt!

You want obscure? How about Roma Torre from NY1 News in NYC? I don’t live there anymore; but when I did, she could read off my Teleprompter anytime she wanted.

Me too. “Incoming…12 centons…incoming…11 centons…” Such sexy authority imparted to such simple phrases…

She’s been in a bunch of stuff but I always liked Shawnee Smith. I remember her best from “Who’s Harry Crumb?”

Looking her up on Google she is still quite hot.

http://www.donnareedshow.com/intro.html I wanted to have my way with Donna Reed and her daughter Shelly Fabares on the same show.

The chick from “Just Shoot me”. Though I never really watched the show.
The original pink power ranger.
and Jessica Love Hewitt.

I came in here to mention her. Holy crap is she hot! Oh, and for another animated one, Harley Quinn from Batman: TAS.

Saw a blonde on CNN yesterday afternoon I’d never seen before. Holy smokin’ teleprompters was she hot.

Hell, it’s my belief that every guy around the age of 25 had a crush on the original pink Power Ranger.

Oh Amy Jo Johnson, we would have been so happy together…

Pffft! You have boring dreams! Think Kim and Shego!
