Graduated from high school!
Y’know, I remember her. I don’t know if it’s cuz we watched on the news or just the TV movie…
Well, Now I really feel old!

I was just thinking about this the other day, actually. Mystery solved (at the cost of now feeling old, even though I’m not). Good for her! 
There’s one here of her at age 16, ~3 years ago. Pretty girl.
Great, I didn’t want to start thinking of myself as old until my next birthday.
The day she was rescued I was working where there was no news available, so at about 1:00PM I called a local televisions station to ask about it.(It was a Friday)
The lady on the phone was nice, went and checked, anc came back to tell me no, she wasn’t out yet. Then she thanked me for being concerned.
Seems that the station had broken into regular programming a couple of times when they thought rescue was imminent, and both times irate women called to complain about their soap operas being interrupted. :rolleyes:
Hey, they got her out that evening and my favorite show was interrupted by the coverage, but that was fine. When they brought her out of that hole, strapped to that board, and we could see her move, it was more than worth it.
