Congratulate Me!

I, being the loving, capable father that I am, have taught my son to LOVE the Three Stooges!

Is that cool or what?

What. Next time he hits you on the head with a hammer, just remember this post…

Nyah Nyah Nyah!
Woo woo woo!
Boiyoiyoiyoiyoing!!!

As long as he learns to appreciate the wordplay as well as the bludgeoning:

Social Worker: “You three work together?”
Curly: “Yeah, we’re Unitarians! Nyuk nyuk nyuk!”

Congratulations!!! As I’m getting older, I’m starting to really appreciate the Three Stooges. I’m happy to see that your son is getting a start on it earlier.

Sorry, I doubt you taught him that very much. You deserve no congratulations. Studies at the University of Guy Stuff show this is based on the Y chromosome. Any guy who doesn't love the Stooges has a genetic defect.

Woohoo I’m a freak.

I must make an admission…

I don’t like the stooges.

::: hangs head in shame :::

I know, I know, don’t cry for me I’m all ready dead.

(FTR, I don’t hate them, it’s just their unique brand of humour has never appealed to me is all)

Yeah? Well, I’ve taught my 5 1/2 year old daughter to love the Stooges

Oh, now that’s something to be proud of, Bill.

You know, my mom never let my brother and I watch the Stooges when we were kids. She knew that we were just stupid enough to probably try some of that on each other. I finally went to a Stooges festival when I was 16, and as I watched, I realized, “Gee, I really wasn’t missing much, was I?”

Nope, I am not a Stooges fan. I prefer the thought-provoking, subtle humor of the Road Runner-Coyote team. Now there’s comic genius.

Uh-huh. I am not letting my kids near that, for fear they might get ideas. Besides, I didn’t find it funny in the slightest when I watched it as a kid. They won’t either, if I have my way…

(we need an evil grin smiley…)

Good. Now teach them how wonderful the tele tubbies are and you have contributed enough to the world.

b dodgy

And here I was beginning to think that nobody around here was cynical any more…
