Last night blur’s hockey team,Team Beer,won the Spring 2001 Waterbury Dek Hockey Championship.
Way to go, blur and Team Beer!

Anyway, since its brought up… We win we win we win…
Triple freaking overtime.
They laughed at us and ran up the score in the 1st game of the series. They said we sucked and didn’t deserve to be there. They laughed at the friends who showed up to cheer us on, calling them losers.
Well, screw them.
While I know its kinda corny to get excited about freaking rec league hockey, we were the worst team for 5 years. 5 years of sucking, getting blown out, having my wife teased at work cause her husband’s team was so bad.
It felt good to ask them who they were laughing at now.
I predicted Team Beer’s victory, it happened.
Now as for my prediction that the Cubs will win the World Series…
