Here’s to #1. Even if it is shared. USC and LSU played better than their opponents. They deserve it.
This is just for congrats by others and for reveling by USC and LSU fans. DON’T let it become a college rivalry thread NOR a debate on the BCS. Just good sports all around, ok?

I was going to start this thread. I was acquainted with Nick Saban and his wife when they were here in Michigan. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy.
Congrats Nick. Even if you did have to go Louisiana to get the ring. 
I dunno, Bob Stoops seems like a pretty nice guy, but I guess he already got one and all, right? Anyway, I wasn’t so impressed with Oklahoma early on, although by the fourth quarter they were looking like the better team. Don’t know if Jason White will make it in the big leagues, but the kid had moxie.
Anyway, I’ll add my congrats to Tiger, Trojan and Sooner fans out there.
Hadn’t had many opportunities to see USC play this year but their win was impressive.
LSU was a mind blower in the first half, although I’ll agree with Shibb and venture that they were glad the game didn’t last for two hours. I’ll give a slight talent edge to Oklahoma but respectfully suggest Saban did a better job of preparation.
Regardless, it was an enjoyable bowl series to watch and kudos to all.
It was a long season, and watching us lose to Cal under a tent in the cold rain was tough, but sitting in the corner of the end zone last thursday made it all worth it!
Congrats to LSU also. You played well.

OU are the true champions. The one or two games of the year they choke on -really, really bad sometimes- don’t count, and everyone knows that.
