The following is her explanation why she feels capitalism is irredeemable:
So - her observations, here (along with a couple ideas for solutions) are basically the most “idiotic” the left has to apparently offer, then.
And, like, nothing, on the right, is anything near as idiotic as that, then. Right. Got it. ooooooo-kaaaaayyy
Great - prolly shouldn’t be posting what’s getting close to the ole lights out time for this premature geezer.
…and now hopefully getting this back to that horse-faced atrocity…
Or in other words, a re-defined form of capitalism. No replacement of joint stock/limited liability/shareholder interests companies by common ownership, let alone nationalisation and central planning.
Germany-style social democracy. And this puts her beyond the pale?
I’m hoping this thread can stay focused on MTG and her idiocy. It’s a pretty rich source.
If someone wants to start a thread about how silly AOC is, especially when you take her words completely out of context or have no sense of humor, I think someone should start that thread. I suggest the Pit.
Just to analyze that quote a little more (bolding mine):
“We have some very blind, hypocritical people in office who tell you they’re going to do all these things for you and they do nothing."
MJT is on no committees. She introduces absurd bills that her own party ignores. She votes exactly as any other GOP rep would vote. She does as close to nothing as it’s possible to (not) do.
“The only one right now that’s really fighting back is Marjorie Taylor Greene. They don’t like her."
To GOP up-and-comers, that’s what “fighting back” looks like – simply being disliked.
Modnote: After careful deliberation, we feel this modnoted is needed.
It is the board’s policy to stop casual misogyny. It will not be tolerated, even in the Pit. We are not specifically banning any words, but please report instances of misogyny and expect moderator action.
The use of ‘qunt’ was misogynistic, and thus a modnote has been issued.
We apologize that it took so long to resolve this. We were distracted by ‘should we ban this word?’ The mods have agreed that in general, we don’t want to ban words, and then realized that the issue here was not about the word, but the misogyny.
MTG appeared Sunday for an interview by a respected mainstream pundit (Alex Jones).
She’s quite perturbed that people perceive her as nutso profundo.
"According to Greene, people treat her like she’s “a crazy person,” which she seemed offended by. “And it just bothers me so much.”
“She explained that people treat her like she has “three horns” coming out of her head. But in her assessment, it’s that everyone else is crazy instead of her.”
