Don’t feel too bad Super Gnat, there are many of us who have reason to feel the same way. Generally it’s only when you are asking questions that Lekatt won’t answer that you are getting somewhere
If it’s not reproducible, it’s not science. There’s no point in fighting the credulity of those who believe in the dishonest trickery of Messers. Praagh and Edward only to substitute more metaphysical nonsense of your own.
metaphysical nonsense? Metaphysical Nonsense? METAPHYSICAL NONSENSE?
(deep breath)
You falsely assume that my results are not reproducible. They are, however, only by humans with Actualized Metaconscious minds. Had you read the link, you would have seen that my work has been published in a peer-reviewed journal.
I could attempt to explain my work in detail. But, this would mever work. The amount of bandwidth required would be prohibitly large. Properly explaining many of the terms and principles would take very nearly the same amount of time it took to earn my degree. Finally, Paradox prevents me from showing you the true nature of reality.
Reality is defined by consensus. Non-Actualized humans accept, share and enforce their accepted definition of reality. Doing anything that violates that definition, results in Paradox. The collective unconscious will of the majority strikes out to destroy the violation. Some compare it to an immune response. I prefer the Peter Pan explanation. For a Non-Actualized human, fairies do not exist. Showing a fairy to a NAH, creates a conflict. The NAH thinks “I don’t believe in fairies.”. The fairy dies. But, that isn’t enough. A dead fairy is as much a violation of NA reality as a live one. So the fairy becomes a doll, a puppet, or a trick of light. As The Neverending Story says “A Fantastican who is killed by the Nothing becomes a lie.”.
I have proof of my claims. I could try to show it to you. But, your mind would not allow you to see it.
Gobear, check your email.
Thanks, Princhester.
Is it just me, or is it weird that the term human keeps getting quantified?
What a polite way to call people “poopyheads and dumb-dumbs” without saying that. Scientology uses the same tactic when they refuse to explain their levels (well, without the proper bling bling). Just leaving it at "it’s too complicated, it would take to much time, or it’s not verifiable by scientific means known to humans lends itself only to a superior tone that gets in the crosshairs of ridicule.
DocEther, are you a real psychotic or just a champion whoosher? I can’t really tell.
[Aside]
Me, I’m still waiting to see what happens with the cite about Houdini’s wife …

It’s DocCathode. Doc because it is suggestive of auithority yet friendly. Cathode because of my fondness for electrical gadgets in general and television in particular.
#2 I’m nearly on 1300 posts. I would hope that you would know me by now.
I don’t think you got anything I said, especially if you really believe the constitution has nothing to do with it.
Later maybe.
Love
Leroy
Lekatt, Doc Cathode has already explained in considerable detail his research and the difficulties that causes for your beliefs. I’d really like to know how you reconcile your position with what he has apparently measured.
WHAT?
Am I in bizarro land or something?
DocCathode,
Sorry about your name, I had just got done goggling on “Ether Psychology” and had “Ether” on the brain.
I have seen your posts before, of course, and you’ve always semmed quite reasonable. Please forgive me for questioning your credentials. I now join Princhester in asking lekatt to rebut your research.
I know the feeling.
Thorough studying of the NonCorporeal Consciousness Fields of Praagh and Edwards have shown that their Metaconscious minds are not actualized in any way. They have NO pyschic abilities whatsoever.
This seems to be an appropriate link for this thread. Skeptic Pitied
You know, in 3rd Edition D&D, you can only attach a NonCorporeal Consciousness Field with a +1 or better magical weapon, and even then you only do 50% damage. (Unless you rub yourself down with oil of etherealness first, in which case you can interact with NonCorporeal creatures and objects normally.)
er … attack, not attach. (Consarned typos.)
I don’t.
Doc and me are old friends, he has acrkesteray, that explains it all.
You better jump in here lekatt-- I think DocCathode’s unprovable assertions is fixin’ to beat up yer unprovable assertions!
This thread has really gotten ugly, with unactualized humans killing Tinkerbell and all:(
