Context Menu Help

My video card’s drivers random crap to my context menus. I got the one’s from my desktop right click out but there’s still one more menu I can’t get rid of.

When I right click a minimized program on the taskbar, I still have “NView Options” below the “Close” option. Really annoying.

So, any advice on removing it?

I’m on Windows XP. Thanks!

My recollection is that in the NView configuration, there is a setting for disabling the NView Windows-handling extensions.

What they probably don’t have is an option to hide the choices on the minimized task bar entry while also leaving the icons & options available on the title bar of a non-minimized window.

Users are endless in their desires, but a desire to have the extra options available to manage & minimize windows, but not the reverse options to bring them back seems pretty far out there.

Unless you want to mess about with the registry directly, download shexview (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html). It will list all the shell extensions, so simply locate and disable the ‘NView options’ with this.
