A Nevada state trooper is suing Starbuck’s, claiming they spiked his coffee with meth. Because they’re Black Lives Matter supporters.

I’m certainly not suggesting that the employees spiked his drink with anything, but if they did, it wasn’t meth.
The cynic in me wonders if the trooper was hit with a random drug test and is just trying to build an alibi.
Of course, in industry, if I tried to use such an excuse for failing a drug test, it would not go well…
Seems likely. The right wing go-to tactic these days is to blame everyone else for their own failings and criminal behavior.

The DA is facing a recall election in 5 days. I’m not surprised the police are being uncooperative, this DA is hitting too close to the knuckles with some of his proposed reforms. I think he’s going to lose and be recalled, which is too bad. It will be a long time before another reform-minded DA is elected in this town.
