How do I convert a PDD file (Adobe PhotoDeluxe) into a gif. Or a jpeg. File?
I have never used the program “Adobe PhotoDeluxe”, but I am assuming it is probably similar to Photoshop or something.
If you open up the “PDD” file in PhotoDeluxe, go to File > Save as…
It’s possible you can change the file type to a .gif or .jpg there (underneath the Filename box).
I can’t say for sure, though since I’ve never used PhotoDeluxe.

In Photoshop, adding text will create new layers. Layers can also be manually created or automatically created by certain procedures, such as dragging-n-dropping an image from another graphic file.
This multi-layered image must be “flattened” before you can save it as anything but a PDD file.
That, or what LilShieste said.
Good luck.
IIRC in PhotoDeluxe you want to use the Export function, which allows you to save in any number of formats. The standard Save only allows you to save in PDD.
