Cool trick for accessing the SDMB, fast!

I recently discovered a nifty little trick for accessing the SDMB, via a single click from the Windows desktop!

(1)IN MSIE, go to the SD Forums main page.
(2)Add the SD Forums main page into your favorites folder.
(3)right-click the taskbar / select toolbars / then select Quick Launch
(4)Open the Favorites folder, then hold and drag the icon of the SD Forums main page, into the tasbkbar, then release.

That’s it. You only have to do the above, once. The SDMB is right there, ONE click away, in your taskbar, from then on.

NOTE: You can even change the appearance of the icon, if you wish. Just right-click on it, and choose properties. :smiley:
I made mine look like a little folded up newspaper, which seems appropriate. :wink:

I’ve got favorite links straight to Great Debates, General Questions and the BBQ Pit in my folder.

And If I really like a specific thread, I throw that in there too until it dies.
