Coolest Google Ads?

I apologize if this thread has been started by someone else; I looked briefly and haven’t seen it.

So, has anyone seen any cool Google ads so far? Ever since I saw the announcement I’ve been opening promising threads, looking for something interesting. But no Google ads for Kool-Aid; none for Pirate porn; none for pie; none for Darwin.

The only interesting one I’ve seen so far was in a thread on Hurrican Rita, that linked to Red Cross’s Donation page. And that’s not that cool.

Let’s hear what you’ve seen and in which threads!

I know this isn’t what you meant, but it was interesting nonetheless.

Heh–I’ve heard of their awesome recruiting tools, but this is the first one I’ve seen. Nifty!

And I’m actually kind of entertained by the complete lack of on-thread response. Once the evil Google spiders do their work, maybe there will be something to discuss.

99% of the Google ads I’ve seen so far are
AmeriList Mailing List Co
Mailing Lists
Opt-Intelligence, Inc (with a new word: “Monetize”)
Mailing Lists That Work

All decidedly NOT cool.

I finally saw a non-mailing list ad. In the Staff Reports thread about saying “cheese” when photographed, the ads were for places to buy cheese.

I find it kind of entertaining when the ads are only superficially related to the topic.

Here’s a Google Ad I’d click on:
*Put SDMB Admins and Moderators on obnoxious mailing lists. We’ll make sure they get hundreds of SPAM E-Mails per day informing them about penis enlargerment methods, barely legal teens just 1 day past their 18th birthday ready for hot girl-on-girl action, offers from Nigeria to send you millions if you just give them your bank account number …
*

I wonder if that posting is against one of the SDMB message board regulations. Perhaps it might be considered making threats against the moderators?
