This is a realy funny, obnoxious, interesting ad. Who is the guy on the gee-tar? Is he somebody recognizable? Is it his song or is it a marketing creation? It’s actually kind of a beautiful song.
We were laughing about it in the “NFL Draft” thread. The damn thing is quite catchy, plus with the good acting especially from the “junior investment banker” and the suffering Wingman, and the punchy direction made the ad a classic. Of course, the fact that it was played 2678 times during the draft ensured that the song is cemented in my mind now.
The funny thing was how good the singer really was.
Can somebody who lip-reads fill us in on what the chick is saying?
Nobody seems to know anything about this, anywhere. Coors’ website is not only unhelpful but actively annoying. Anybody recognize this guy?
IMHO, the wingman has it pretty easy. While the junior investment banker might be annoying, she’s at least good looking. The wingman is not taking advantage of the opportunity being presented to him.
The wingman is more likely to score, as he is giving the impression that he cares what the junior investment banker is saying. Chicks dig being listend to.
His buddy is clearly just treating her friend like a piece of meat.
