I just saw in the Pit - two threads with the same name, same number of posts, same number of replies, same last poster to reply and (I can only assume, because I gave up waiting for the other thread to open) same posts. I pasted the relevant info from the forum page…
Am I going insane or did anyone else notice?

One has a post id of 208839. The other is 208602

I just saw this too.
On the Pit main page, it shows Muffin as the thread starter, 18 responses, and (as of right now) Troy McClure SF as the last poster.
Then when I click on the thread, it takes me to a single post by Troy, with all the previous posts missing, and a link to the missing posts.

Board traffic is heavy. And outside traffic is bad too, and has been for a little bit now.
I would imagine most every server in cyberspace is reeling under the onslaught. It’s particularly bad over here.
When the server gets beaten like a rented mule, it does odd stuff. This is one of those times.

Don’t I know it. Yesterday, my Board sent a PM to me claiming it was sad and it wanted to shave its private parts and join the Rosicrucians. It was eventually wrangled back into place, but at the cost of 57 Members being BANNED and the creation of a new “Lite, Easy Hits of the 70’s” forum.
