Yep. It is a good time to have a drive-in (other than having to show older movies over and over.) There is one sort-of near me and it has never closed and was never asked to close–it is social-distancy enough.
There was a story on the local news that some restaurants are adding car hop service. I guess we’re going back to the '50’s with drive-in movies and dining.
Anyone know how Sonic restaurants are doing with all this? It seems like it’d be a prime place to go if the family wanted to eat out since it’s designed around customers staying in their cars.

The article doesn’t claim that Chinese state media produced the video; only that they “released” it. I’d be interested to know whether or not they were actually behind it (and if so, how high up the commission came from).
Can’t argue with that. Unfortunately, the plan appears to be to just put up with things getting worse for another eight and a half months.

I think it is extremely likely that the virus is kept in a Chinese lab - in fact I would be amazed if it wasn’t - otherwise it would be impossible to carry out research.
I would also expect that most countries carrying out research will also have the virus in their research labs - I wonder if the orange one has somehow conflated research labs and virus storage.
