Yeah. Seems to me the way to prevent toilet paper hoarding is to make sure there’s enough obtainable, usable toilet paper to go around. If toilet paper can “expire” so that it’s no longer usable, that’s a step in the wrong direction.

The thing I don’t get is, if you’re that worried about running out of toilet paper, why not just buy a travel bidet?
I have one, and it’s reduced my toilet paper use by, like, 90%, and even the last 10% is mostly optional, if there’s a real shortage.
Please let’s not turn this into another thread about how people should be going to the bathroom.
