Same here. I watched maybe ten minutes, total, of the final episode… but said “To hell with it” when I realized that Fox was showing Star Trek: Generations. Now that was a fun movie…
The most I know about the winner is that he ran around naked on the island, and that’s only because Conan O’Brien made fun of him for it.
My Survivor synopsis… a bunch of people lounge around on an island, doing nothing. The only reason it’s not like a bunch of Peg Bundy’s is that they’re not watching TV.

Has there been Survivor saturation in the media? Of course there has. I could do with a little less, but . . .
I watched and enjoyed every episode of Survivor (as well as participated in a thread). Why I am I a member of the “mooing herd”. I didn’t jump on a bandwagon. I saw the first episode, liked it, and decided to watch the rest. I didn’t blindly agree to what others were telling me.
I saw the first episode of Big Brother. I thought it sucked. I haven’t watched an episode since. Judging by the ratings it’s getting, most people are ignoring it, does that make us all members of the mooing herd not watching Big Brother as well?
It doesn’t matter of it’s an intelligent show, or a morally uplifting show, or a show putting forth some great message. I found it enjoyable, so I watched it. Eat me if you don’t like my viewing habits.
Do I piss on you for watching Dr. Who, or Masterpiece Theatre? No, I don’t.

Besides, it seemed this was turning into a “Let’s Bash Survivor” Party. Someone had to stick up for it. I wasn’t bullshitting. I liked it.
I didn’t watch it.
It was a choice between Rich and Jenna and a bunch of other losers running around an island acting like a bunch of weenies to compete for a million dollars, and watching Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston and a bunch of other losers running around an apartment acting like a bunch of weenies for a million dollars each per show.
Of course you know what I watched? Damn straight. The Man Show. Girls with big boobs jumping on trampolines! Woo Hoooooo!
