I promised myself I wouldn’t post this until I saw a second thread complaining about all the Star Wars threads. Yeah, I know I’m annoying. No, I’m not apologizing. Yet.
Anyway, with Yoda’s command of the Force, and his badass lightsaber skills, if he suddenly appeared on Earth tomorrow and demanded that all people of Earth bow to his will (as out-of-character as that might seem), could he succeed? Would we all pull together and try to destroy him? And if so, how would we best accomplish that? And if we failed to repel him, what would Earth be like after ten or more years of Yoda rule? What say you?
True, but who would be doing the throwing? And under who’s command? And what exactly would they be throwing?
I don’t think Yoda’s just going to stand there as the bombs and bullets are raining in. Plus, all the bombs and bullets that miss are probably going to hit someone they weren’t intended for.
I would assume Yoda has a pretty good plan going in. I imagine that capitalizing on Earth’s disunity and lack of organization would be a large factor in that plan.
Well, assuming that he could “sense” the inner workings and fiddle with them with his mind from range–it would just be a hunk of metal. And with the force, he would probably know it was coming. Though I think that that would be the big question; what is Yoda’s “range” for being able to sense possible incoming threats? A big laser from space (ala Real Genius) might do him in since it could be too far away for him to be able to tamper with.
Yoda has already been a World Leader on Earth, albeit only over the USA.
Get him out of those filthy robes, give him a nice haircut & black hair dye, put him on stilts & into a nice suit, & you get Ronald Reagan, who also had great power over the weak-minded.
Yoda does indeed have impressive command of the force, but could he overturn a mob of angry SUV drivers looking to do some off-road on his green little forehead? I think not.
first, you’ll have to defeat the legion of fanatic lightsabre wielding ninjas that will have pledged themselves to Master Yoda, if only just to own a lightsabre.
