Could you please spell my fucking name right?

Ja, Ix sprix Deutsche.

If you’ll be my bodyguard I can be your long lost pal. I can call you Esprix, and Esprix when you call me you can call me Al…

Call me Al.

I just love it when people have confusing spelling in their names and then go around mad at the rest of the world for not getting it right.

Or pronunciation. I think it was Ralph Fiennes who gets pissed when people pronounce “Ralph” as the vast majority of the world pronounces it instead of as “Rafe”. Pretentious fuck.

And that’s “Bob” with ONE “o”.

What really gets me is people who use pretentious screen names.

Holy crap. Learn something new everyday. I checked out Wikipedia’s entry on the given name Ralph and, sure enough, “Rafe” is the first pronunciation given (although dictionary.com gives the “raelf” pronunciation primary status) I can’t recall ever hearing that pronunciation, and I had no idea “Ralph” could be pronounced that way.

Holy crap the shit you learn from pit threads.

I have what people would say was a confusing spelling of my name. I only get annoyed at the rest of the world for not getting it right when they are replying to an email that has my name spelled correctly for them. It’s right there in my signature - how could you possibly misspell it?!

Aw cut the dude some slack. He was given a name that is a synonym of “vomit.” Knowing what we now do about middle schoolers, the poor SOB probably has some serious PTSD.

Damn!! So much for my plan to change my username to MillerIsAPoopyPants

It’s only an insult if he in fact is NOT a poopy pants. So actual photos may be in order.

…or at least an experienced mommy with a good nose as a witness.

How about MillerIsAJackbootedNaziMod?

Holy crap, talk about coming back from the dead…

Esprix

Spree!!!

I so totally knew this would happen. Totally.

NEWS FLASH! ZOMBIE THREAD RESULTS IN ACTUAL LIVE HUMAN BEING RETURNING TO THE PIT.

:: Waves excitedly at Esprix!! ::

Do you get Bob with two “o’s” often?

That’s part of what pisses me off - they’ve seen my name spelled correctly umpteen times, but it never registers.

I love it when that happens!

From an article in MAD in 1963, a look at colleges presented in primer form:

Last week the Phony Intellectual wrote home.
He wrote that he had become an “Existentialist.”
He spelled it wrong.
