Wonder what her penis looks like. I’ll have to agree with Khadaji, I only hear about her here.
Have you prayed on a dunghill for thirty days in sackcloth and ashes? How can you call yourself a conservative, sir!
I did miss the “as I am” clause in your fourth post. Sorry about that. In scanning your comments, it really didn’t stand out all that well.
And even more enjoy her enough to make her a best-selling author and highly sought public speaker. You’re asking me to ignore her enormous, objectively verifiable popular success, and take the word of about a half dozen conservatives I’ve met on the internet that she really isn’t very popular at all.
Why on Earth should I do that?
Sure, but not because of what she said. They cut her loose because she threw a fit over being asked to rewrite a column and trashed the magazine’s editorial staff on Politically Incorrect. From this column by Jonah Goldberg:
The flagship journal of conservative opinion didn’t stop carrying her column because they disapproved of politics. They stopped carrying her column because she insulted them in public.
During his speech at the Democratic National Convention, did Al Sharpton say anything anti-Semetic? Did the Democrats applaud him for saying it?
Well, 10-4 on the bus shelter part anyway.
What more do you expect from Coulter? Her schtick makes her boatloads of money, those groups that invite her know full well what to expect and she delivers. If she thought she could make more money doing it, she’d be insulting the righties. The best thing to do with Coulter is ignore her.
What is it about right-wing commentators and their senses of humor?
Glenn Beck thinks it is funny to sexually harass his guest on national TV. Her response is classic.
I don’t think transgender people want to be used as an insult for Ms. Coulter, or are particularly flattered by the comparison, thank you.
The only conservative Doper I remember defending Coulter was Brutus back in that Want to see Ann Coulter get fucking OWNED on Canadian TV? thread from a couple years ago. Liberal defended her in that one too, but he is completely non-partisan so I’m not sure if he can be called a conservative.
I can’t speak for anybody else, but that is an accurate point. It’s not funny, and it doesn’t matter. Only the hate coming from her shriveled heart matters. I, for one, will no longer make those comparisons. Thank you for you post.

Way outside my editing window, I have a question to add. Where did this “faggot” label come from? I won’t debate the audience’s approval of the remark, but from the sounds of things a large number accepted it. Why?
Thanks in advance for any light you shed on this.
Because he gots a purdy mouf’.
It could be a false penis, like female hyenas have.
That was less than helpful, but since my mother tried: Thank you.
If conservatives want to continue to take the ride to irrelevancy that they are
currently on and continue to hitch their agendas to the likes of Coulter, Limbaugh,
Hannity et al., then they may go right on ahead doing so. I’ll sit back and watch the
ensuing implosion. [Hmm no popcorn-munching smiley] Guess few conservatives
sit back and consider if the true enemies of their party lie within their own ranks…
This is rich. In a thread about bad things a conservative said, the nice liberals have to police their language of things just as bad or worse.
Now I’ll be the first to admit that the scale of the crimes don’t measure up, given the public impact of the comments involved. Still, I find this hilarious.
Hilarious, avoiding hypocracy. Po-TAY-to, po-TAH-to. To each his own.
Yikes. I finally saw the clip. Yikes. She was so very, very pleased with herself. And that was not the sound of an audience repelled by the comment; to the contrary, they were savoring it.
Various Democrats have called for an apology by her and for the Republicans to repudiate what she said. I look forward with great anticipation to how they’ll react.
Well all three of the leading Republican presidential candidates have denounced the comments. Good on them.
I’m interested whether as big a deal will be made about other remarks by a bomb-thrower on the other side, as Bill Maher just made a comment that basically said the world would be a safer place if the assassination attempt against Dick Cheney had succeeded.
Now, I’m not playing any gotcha games here. I’m just saying that if you wait long enough, someone somewhere will say something stupid. And the level to which they reflect a political movement will generally be inflated or deflated according to the bias of the commentator, I’d wager.
Libertarians are the ‘other side’ now?
