I knew it! Though with her, I thought it would be a horse.
Bestiality comes out of the Republican closet.

No, “horse” is how her voice sounds after she deep-throats Edward’s goat.
Ho! Just a joke! My toe went over the line!
That goes without saying. It wouldn’t make much sense to hurl an insult identifying your target with something that he or she doesn’t identify with and doesn’t like, but you do. It’s hard to hurt someone with somthing you personally think is a compliment. It can be done, but it is ripe for confusion.
She’s just a troll who says stupid shit and revels in the attention. Ignore her. Pay attention to someone more worthwhile, like Paris Hilton.
I stopped reading your post right there, because Ann Coulter is one of the dumbest people I have ever had the displeasure of listening to.
And do you think it’s unfair that that implied contempt for gays might’ve pissed a few people off?
Hmmm. I checked the link in the OP, and I don’t know who that kid is “reporting” but he’s kind of a jerk, I didn’t hear Coulter call Edwards a “faggot” there. I confess that I turned it off when I found the link to Mediamatters which has Coulter saying “faggot.”
Of course, she didn’t actually call Edwards a “faggot” but danced around the edge of it enough that I guess I don’t have a problem with anyone characterizing her as having done so.
What she said was you can’t call anyone a faggot without checking into rehab, which obviously is a joke referencing that guy on tv who called one of his coworkers a faggot and then went into rehab. So, I don’t have a problem or doubt her when she said it was a joke.
Of course, I recognize that this joke also insinuates that Edwards is a faggot.
Does she really think Edwards is a faggot? Beats me. She’s simply insulting him. Then why use faggot? Because she knows that it will get her a soundbite and piss liberals off.
It also kind of proves the point of her “joke,” which I guess is commenting about the offensibility of people in general and liberals in particular who will make a big deal about people who use words they don’t like or find offensive.
And, it seems that you guys took the bait. So, be aware that this is probably the reaction she is looking for, and she can claim it as a victory by saying accurately that she didn’t actually call Edwards a faggot but was misatributed and boy howdy don’t those liberals get all het about this stuff just like I said they would in my joke.
That being said, I really don’t like Ann Coulter, and it’s not nice to call or insinuate that people are faggots, but if you guys would stop biting the hook every time she baits it she would lose her schtick.
She’s simply trolling for liberals.
If only it were that simple. But if every liberal kept quiet when Coulter opened her fetid yap, it wouldn’t stop her. It’s not liberal outrage that lines her pockets, it’s the hard-earned money from legions of conservatives who are lapping up her slanders. Those are people you need to convince to look the other way if you want to shut her up, not us.
Nope, she’s a troll, she’d simply cast about for a new schtick, and with the continued support of mainstream Republicans, she’d eventually find it. You may as well get over your feigned distaste for her Scylla. She represents the core of how your party operates. That’s becoming increasingly clear to the 70% of us who actually care about the future of America. Trolls should be banned, but the GOP habitually invites them into their heart.
Again, CPAC does not the GOP make.
And if some Republicans stopped inviting her to conferences, she’d still get tons of exposure in the media, from outlets as varied as Bill Maher, the Today Show, the Discovery Channel, CNN, many radio shows, and even films.
I’d be happy to see her frozen out of all of these, but I won’t hold my breath. Bringing her into a green room is compelling TV - kind of like bringing in the skanks that populate Judge Joe Brown’s or Judge Judy’s courtroom, but with a thin veneer or respectability, since she is supposedly a commentator.
Wrong.
Wrong.
Wrong again.
Hotheaded, kneejerk assumptions do not equal fact. Everything about your post demonstrates that you simply don’t know what you’re talking about.
Nor do you, Frostillicus. Coulter may be many undesirable things, but dumb isn’t one of them. I don’t like Clinton (either one, take your pick), but as much as it bereaves my butt, I have to give them credit for smarts.
Giving credit where due is key to credibility.
Mmm.
Let me guess…
American Shark?
Natural Disasters?
Combat Zone?
The Deadliest Job in the World?
Future Shark?
A Haunting?
It Takes a Thief?
Although I think that the most likely shows in the Discovery Channel to show her would be:
Dirty Jobs, Deadliest Catch, I Shouldn’t Be Alive or Most Deadly!
Good to see you repudiating all what you said in the past!
Yup, that’s what you always say. It’s a great dodge, but what then is the GOP? Is it the RNC, the NRCC, the president, or is it whatever particular faction isn’t currently in the spotlight for reprehensible behavior?
You do know that CPAC invited Coulter last year and raised a stink, don’t you? Also in 2005 and 2004. The gal is a regular fixture of the meeting, which makes the smarmy post event ‘apologies’ highly suspect.
:: assumes German accent, ala Sgt. Shultz of Hogan’s Heroes ::
I repudiate nuh’thing!
Sgt. Schultz would repudiate ANYTHING for a blintz.
So would I, but GIGO didn’t offer.
This tactic was once known as the Blintzkrieg.
“2007 SPEAKERS
Vice President Dick Cheney - Sean Hannity - Senator Mitch McConnell - Ann Coulter - Tom Delay - Michelle Malkin - David Horowitz - Congressman Mike Pence - Newt Gingrich - Phyllis Schlafly - Wayne LaPierre - and many more!”
This roster sports a number of participants whose public reputation can be fairly termed “combative”.
If you assert otherwise, then let’s see your reasoning.
