Some recollections:
I missed both the trains I was supposed to take.
I didn’t dance on the table.
I asked every man and his dog in the bowling alley why people spin the ball (unlike Robert Croft) when bowling, and why the shoes are so girly.
I hate the Beatles more than ever now.
MikeG gave me a lift to where I thought I was staying, but the apt had moved and I had to wander round for about an hour and a half before I found the new location.
I couldn’t find my door key when I did find the apartment.
I had to sleep on the porch. I expect the neighbours think that a bum has taken up residence on their stairs.
I have to get some sleep. Thanks guys, it was fun:)

Home again, safe and sound! Many thanks to the ChiDopers for the good time–y’all sure know how to throw a party! I’m looking forward to seeing multiple photos of my cleavage and my undies circulated around the Internet (except for the pics Superdude is keeping for his own use).
I discovered this morning that that scoundrel SuaSponte actually put vix’s hand on my ass–I had been thinking it was her idea, but it was a case of “Heh heh, my girlfriend’s gettin’ groped by a chick. Heh heh heh.” 'S all right, I really didn’t mind–and I don’t think she did either.
I did give jarbabyj a big kiss on the lips as I had promised I would do. And I really think I’m in love with BunnyGirl now. (Sounds like there was a lot of hot girl on girl action, dunnit?)
JoeyHemlock gives remarkably good backrubs. And both thinksnow and UncleBill have very comfy laps–and just in case anyone was in doubt about this, ts is definitely not gay.
I was, however, terribly disappointed to discover only $3.10 in my bra when I got back to the hotel. I thought for sure more people had stuck their hands in there…hey waitaminnit! To whoever got the free grope: you OWE ME!

Despite my “help,” Superdude was doing okay with that waitress. Now, if that address she gave him isn’t in Lake Michigan or the Chicago Sanitary District (Wife did that once, but not to me) he will gain my eternal respect.
Geobabe’s cleavage remained stable throughout the evening, unlike Val’s in October. At least until I left. It might have changed after that.
Cold Guinness, even the freshest (least skunky) I ever had, is pretty nasty.
I’m pretty sure I (finally) have everybody’s face matched to their name, but don’t quiz me on “real” names.
I still think anybody who travels more than, say, fifty miles for one of these things is nuts, but I was very happy to meet all the out-of-towners who came.

Well, I had a late brunch alone on sunday and then went to work again. sigh
I wasn’t really into the whole fest thing this time. Sorry. Boli and I closed the Mark II (a 4 o’clock bar) both friday and saturday, so I wasn’t entirely without spirit.
Was Thinksnow looking particularly hot this time around or was he wearing some kind of musk or what? It was like the whole crowd was pawing him. And then, unless I’m mistaken, he slept next to MikeG both nights. …Hunh?
I did get a coupla lovely ladies on my lap very briefly, but I felt very much the consolation prize.
Jmonster, I didn’t get to talk to ya much, but yes you gave me the impression that you were a dork. I like dorks. It’s jerks I can’t stand and you didn’t seem to be one of those from the little I saw. You didn’t find your soulmate or anything at this fest, but don’t give up fests entirely, each one is different from the others. This one was mostly a thinksnow-adoration society with a few of the quieter types having conversations in the wings.
For me the highlight of the whole thing was Jen’s rendition of “Nothing Compares 2U”. I hope my backups were ok. After so much bad singing before hand spaced by only a handful of decent performances, that one rocked the house.
Superdude gets the nod for life of the party if for no other reason than he put so much effort into it.
