I am trying to find the current rate of childhood immunizations for my county.
(A geographical division within a state.)
I know it is going to be low, but how low?
I can find statewide info from the CDC and lots of similar info from various comparison websites such as city-data.org.
The county public health website has a vast amount of stats but is silent on this topic. The rate in 1993 was 31% vs. statewide average of 61%.
I will try to call the health district but I’m not certain they will give me anymore than the website.
So give me a hand …
I want to know how bad it is now.
Too slow on the edit.
The county in question is Bonner County Idaho.
Historically North Idaho has very poor rates of childhood immunization.
I can find newspaper articles from the 1990’s which report that the statewide rate was in the 60% range but Bonner County was at 30%.
Idaho is still in the 60 some percentile but can’t find recent county rates.
The fact that we used to collect this data makes me think that we still do.
It seems like we collect more of all kinds of data, not less.
So… where ( on the net) can I find childhood immunization rates for Bonner County Idaho?
Had to resort to the telephone (gasp!).
Still no answers but promises to e-mail me. kunilou , Idaho kids count phone was answered by the director herself.
Thanks for your help.
