Couple in Singapore on trial for distributing Jack Chick tracts

Article in The Straits Times

Since the initial complaint was made in April, Chick’s website has been blocked in Singapore and his tracts (which were available in some Christian bookstores) were pulled off the shelves. As far as I can remember there’s been a on/off, banned/not banned thing going since the early 2000s.

I have no love for Chick, but am wondering if any other country has reacted to his work in a similar manner?

AFAIK, Chick Tracts’ site has always been barred for Singaporeans. I never got to access it at all.

One fewer nut on the Internet tree.

I can tell you that proselytizing in any way, shape or form is completely banned in Nepal.

Now we just need to figure out a way to get the Phelps crew to travel to a country where their crap wouldn’t be tolerated.
