I was shown the way here by my distant relative, T. Slothrop. I suggested that my wife become a member much later, as she kept asking me to ask my imaginary internet friends various questions. My daughter just signed up a month or so ago.

Sadly, I am not part of a board couple. I was, however, introduced to Dopefests by none other than our excellent matt_mcl, who I had met in the Esperanto world. That almost makes up for it.
My husband is Least Original User Name Ever. He convinced me to join. He was also the one who got gonzomax, his father, to join. I went through LOUNE’s previous posts a few months ago for the fun of it.
Elfbabe was a regular poster for a time, she’s my eldest. She pops in once in a great while if I ask her to weigh in on a topic.
My youngest posted quite briefly as Eowyn the Mercotan before she got bored and wandered into other areas of the net.

Don’t make myself very well known these days, but my wife, GeoBabe, and I met through these boards and then at a MegaFest face to face, got married, procreated and all that. Not that anyone who joined after 2006 or so would recognize either one of us.
My husband goes by ironghost: he actually introduced me to the Dope. We met in an IRC chat room. He’s moved on to other boards, although he’ll pop in if I let him know about an interesting topic.
It seems that the wild and wooly days of the boards are long past, and we’re a more sedate and settled-down lot…
Dread Pirate Jimbo and I are married in real life - we didn’t meet here, but we did meet through an online website. He reads more than he posts, but I often direct him to a thread that he might find interesting (usually sports-related).
We try to use some good etiquette here, too, and not be too obvious about our couple-hood. 
Suburban Plankton and I are married IRL (18 yrs!). He joined before I did. I lurked longer. Our son who turned 13 this past week has just registered with the moniker Ledzepkid.
Well, years ago, my ex-wife (while she was still my wife) introduced me to the Dope. I became a regular, and she mostly drifted away from the board. Then we divorced.
At the end of 2009, this happened, and as it happens, jsgoddess and I have been together ever since. And now we’re living together and engaged.
Oh, sure sure – there are lots of other Doper couples on the board. We’re just the most awesome among them. 
(Actually, having met Shayna and her hubby in person on multiple occasions, I’ve always thought their story was one of the best.)
I’ve been a member of the Dope for a number of years before I met Acid Lamp, whom I introduced to the boards. He seems to enjoy it here, but we met in meatspace.
You guys haven’t met Jim and I yet (but we are planning a trip through California, probably next summer).
And Baby Kate, that little toddler you knew, started junior high two weeks ago.
