I’m on the wrong side of this. I’m 5’7", she’s 5’9" and often wears heels. I’ve never been self-conscious about it but it does look a bit odd in photos.
About 3" or so. Not much, really. TheElf lost an inch in height when a disk in his spine collapsed about 2 years ago. He’s 5’8 and I’, 5’5.
I’m 6’2", she’s 5’5". Two friends of mine in college, a married couple, had the biggest height difference I’ve ever seen: she was 5’ even, he was a basketball player, a full 7’ tall.
I’m 6’4", my wife is 4’10, so 18 inches. she can’t reach the top of my head without standing on something.
Never been really attracted to any women over 5’4" or so. Does make it difficult to drive the same car.
I’m as tall as she is around.
If you have the expendable income, this is a great reason to buy a higher-end car! My hubby’s BMW X3 came with two programmable keys, one his, one mine. When I unlock the car with mine, it automatically sets to my settings (driver’s seat, rear-view and side-view mirrors), and when it’s unlocked with his key, it automatically adjusts to his settings. BUT. . .just in case, there are also five auto-sets on the side of the driver’s seat. He’s number one, I’m number two.
Just a good excuse to buy an expensive toy. . .
I’m 5’7 and he says he’s 5’9 but he’s really more like 5’8. Works for us.
I am 5’4", my wife is 5’9".
What is with women and this. My wife is actually 5’1 3/4. I don’t know how many times she’s said, “I’m 5’2”," and I’ve responded with, “Or thereabouts.”
It gets me the dirty look every. single. time.
I don’t know about short women, but I used to round up to 5’10" on dating sites for a while even though I’m 5’9" 1/2ish. (I used to be 5’9" 3/4ish - I’m shrinking!) I didn’t want guys to be surprised when I showed up and was tall.
Maybe it’s because a lot of guys would say they were 5’10" or 5’11" and were really 5’9".
I’m 5’6". My first hubby was around my same height, maybe 5’8". Our daughter is 5’7" and our son is 6’2".
My second hubby was almost six feet even.
My now-hubby is 6’5". His first wife was 5’6" also, and their daughter is 5’9" and son is 5’11" or 6’0".
ETA: Hubby is apparently some kind of throw-back. His mom and dad were of normal height (about 5’4" and 5’10"). He is the only child of theirs who is exceptionally tall.
Maybe 1 inch difference, although it’s barely noticeable when I’m not paying attention to proper posture. I’m not a big fan of super short girls like most guys are; I much prefer to date a woman who’s my size or taller, which isn’t too hard since I’m only 5’8" or so. She doesn’t like to wear heels, since she’s a believer in the whole “tall man short woman” thing everyone is such a big fan of, and it’s a whole lot easier to have sex in the shower with a shorter girl, but other than that there’s no problems.
I’m 1-10 (one fathom, 10 centimeters), wife is 1-32 (one yard, 32 inches) - making me 177,800 microns taller than her.
I’m 6-3. My wife is 4-11. (She says she’s 5 even. She’s not.)
It’s nice to have stairs.
Maybe 2-3 inches (she very rarely wears heels, btw)
I’m 5’6", he’s 6’2"
I’m 5’6" and my Mig is 5’5. Our little girl is built just like him.
