Crafty types. Will my idea work for this travel bidet?

The below is just one example. I don’t need to know about this particular model.

I bought one of these things before that worked pretty much just like the one you see below. (But it wasn’t this particular model.)

I didn’t like it. I had to bend myself like a pretzel to get at the area. It was not fun. It was not relaxing like the one I have at home.

This is what I’m thinking: I am going to attach a hose the nozzle. At the other end of the hose is going to be a spring clamp that I can just clamp on to the seat ring right before use.

That’s it.

I’m thinking if I tried this, by the time the water got to the other end of the hose, it would just come out in a drizzle and do no good at all.

I know I can’t be the first person to think about this. I’m sure there’s a reason manufacturers don’t already sell them like this.

Look on line for a postpartum ‘bidet’ bottle. They have the nozzle bent at a comfortable angle. I have seen postpartum care items at stores like Target also.

I just checked-on Amazon there are many choices, starting at $10. Search for ‘postpartum bidet wash bottles’.

I don’t quite understand this setup. So you want to take an existing electric travel bidet, attach a small hose to its output, clamp that hose to the toilet seat… and then what? Doesn’t that leave a gap of many inches between the toilet seat and your, uh, hole(s)? Isn’t it just going to spray all over you…?

It’s not necessarily the case that a hose will cause you to lose all water pressure and just have a drip at the other end… after all, that’s how all the traditional, corded Waterpiks work (but they probably have stronger pumps):

But there, the hose is before the output nozzle, so you can still aim it with the hard nozzle. How would you aim with your setup, if it’s the other way around with a soft hose being the water exit?

Plus, wouldn’t it be nasty to have to clip the hose onto public toilet seats?

If you just want something with a better angle, or a longer nozzle, maybe something like a generic wash bottle would be better? Wash bottle - Wikipedia

Perhaps you can somehow jury-rig a hard nozzle like that onto an electric bidet.

If you’re good at electronics, maybe you can take apart one of the corded/hosed Waterpiks and connect it to a battery setup: Waterpik Aquarius Water Flosser Engineering Teardown

(but also, ouch… seems like that concentrated stream would hurt down there)

Smart. Yeah do this.

Or maybe buy a packet of Dude wipes.
Seems simpler.

The hose would be about 24" long. One end is attached to the bidet I’m holding in my hand. The other is attached to the toilet seat vis-à-vis a clamp. Pointing directly towards the area.

When I’m ready to clean I just turn the device on. No need to turn around for anything. I can just face forward and sit comfortably.

You’re really gonna tote all that into a public toilet?

You can wrap the hose around the device. It wouldn’t be that bulky.

I wouldn’t use it in public restrooms anyways. I would mostly use it for stays at like an Airbnb or hotel.

Or my mom’s house. Good Lord. Her house is nearly a hundred years old. Any more than three or four sheets of TP and the toilet will get clogged. It’s ridiculous.

If the bathroom sink is reasonably close, fill it with water. A small diameter ( like fish. Tank pump hose could reach to the sink, and a siphon easily created. To turn it on/off just kink the hose. All done.
You might want a practice run first. Physics are there though.
