Okay, we’ve heard how George is only going to make six SW films. Where in the world did this guy get this episode 7 “information”? Did he just make it up?
I can tell he’s not the most reliable. He didn’t get a thing right in his Episode 2 “facts” section. For example:
Oddly enough, he did seem to get this right about Episode one:
So is he crazy or am I just paying too much attention to a lonely fan-boy site that was listed in the Google directory?
Yeah… I am not sure what is worse… That Episode 7 description (which you know is false because it mentions characters created in the books not by Lucas and you aren’t a complete moron ) or the Episode 3 description on theforce.net (A Sith Council = crap)
Perhaps if you like crazy people and sci fi, I recommend visiting Scifipi.com (I think that is it)
Oh and the Episode 1, R2-D2 action figure had booster rockets. So saying there was a scene cut that had him using them wasn’t going to far out on a limb.
The nine movies thing he retracted. He was kind of cajoled into projecting for nine, though he originally had no storyline for that era. More recently he’s just said “No. Nothing more. Shut up already.”
I went recently to the Brooklyn musuem and view ‘The Magic of Myth’ which is a collection of Star Wars props, costumes and an explanation of the hero myth that Star Wars taps into.
So I’m standing about a foot from R2D2, and I can flatly state that there are no jets on it. None at all.
Two years ago, starwars.com did an April Fool’s edition of their web page: what the page would look like back around 1979 or so. Under the section about finding out about all the movies in the series, it had nine episodes listed
