So often we see posts (mostly in the pit) wherein somebody goes off and vents a spleen about something somebody did or said somewhere on the boards, without providing a link to the situation of offence.
Thanks to somebody’s “Linkety-link-link?” and John Corrado’s “Professor Link in the Linkroom with a Link?”[sup]*[/sup] we now have evolved. The bar has been raised. A new baseline has been drawn. New standards have been set. Gone are the days where one could simply post “Link please?”. We have entered the epoch of creative link requests.
For the slow to catch up among us, perhaps we should create a canon of requests to be used when the need arises. I’ll start populating the database with:
“Got Link?”
“Who does a brother gotta know to get a link?”
“I’d like the link salad with the link dressing on the side.”
“Brother, can you spare a link?”
“Can I get the filet of link special but with the baked link and gravy?”
