A patient simulator is a kind of medical simulator that aims to give healthcare professionals hands-on experience in the kinds of things you can’t really do on real people until someone genuinely needs care. Operations, emergency care, things like that; it’s entirely possible that those of you who took a basic CPR class had some beat-up old dummy as a teacher while you practiced chest compressions (and, possibly, rescue breathing, which lay people shouldn’t do anymore) on a patient simulator.
This is what happens when a company that makes dental patient simulators makes a freebie calendar. They’re either trying to boost sales or attempting to get into the ‘raise the Elder Gods’ racket, and from those pictures it looks to be a good year for the shoggoths. Somehow, December looks especially disturbing. Maybe watching this video will help put us all in the mood. “I’m dreaming of a dead city/Where Deep Ones swim in depths of night…”
Looks like a tryiout for new Doctor Who creatures. You thought the Weeping Angels were bad – wait untiol you meet the Dental Simulators!
They all look like they’re shouting. I can imagine them as replicants from the 1979 version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers alerting others to the Unconverted in their midst.
