So…I’m addicted to these candies: LifeSavers CremeSavers Chocolate and Caramel Soft Candies. They’re yummy and addictive and make nice little small-dose snacks. When I find them in the stores I buy several bags to make sure I don’t run out since distribution seems to be spotty.
Of course they’ve discontinued them.
I’m just wondering if any of y’all have seen them in your stores. I would be happy to pay for them with tax and shipping if someone could send me some–large quantities welcome if your store still has a lot of them, but even single bags are welcome.
Somebody feed my addiction…please? Thanks very much! (Please email me first in case I get a flood of responses–I’d like a lot of them but if they’re more common in other places than here (CA Bay Area) I can’t afford to spend a small fortune on them and even I don’t need a metric tonload of them. )
Here is a tiny little image of what the bag looks like. The HARD candy bag looks similar, and they still make those. I want the SOFT ones.
I recently had a similar problem getting the raspberry hard cremesavers and resorted to getting them off of eBay. After a few months, I found a store that carried the raspberry cremesavers and all was well.
I won’t make promises, but if I remember the next time I’m at the store, I’ll look for your soft candies.
I tried to find Hersey’s soft carmels for at least three years, especialy the apple ones. I search the site last year and they stopped making them, the stores weren’t the problem. The stuff left on the shelf is like clay and doesn’t disolve in your mouth over time. you either spit it out or decide to swollow it in chunks. I had to mak homemde carmels this year to get rid of the craving. Candy isn’t as bad as it used to be thanks to the best friend a candy maker can have. Let me introduce Mr. Microwave. You don’t need a double boiler or you burn it, and if it starts to set to soon a minute in the microwave puts it back into liquid.
