Ok SDers, I need your help. Years ago a friend of mine had an eight track tape (yeah I know I’m showing my age) of a skit called “The Crepitating Contest”. Actually it was a farting contest, but it was funny as hell. Well I have lost contact with my buddy, and I am looking for a copy of that tape. Any SDers know where I can get one? I know that among the teeming milllions, if not teeming gazillions, there should be someone who can help me. Thanks y’all.
you guys really need to put more faith in search engines.

this place should have it, but you can look yourself:
Slight tangent:
I always wondered if Mel Brooks’ character in Blazing Saddles (Governor Le Petomane) was the chosen as the same name as the French fartiste of the same era.
Yes. Ricky Jay’s article on Lepetomane in LEARNED PIGS AND FIREPROOF WOMEN specifically mentions that Brooks had him in mind.
I have that “event” on CD-ROM. It was purchsed from that catalog of “things you didn’t know existed”. I think the company name is E.F. Johnson.
I fist heard the event in 1964. At that time it was on 2 78 rpm disks.
