I hate to be the one to tell you this, but there was nothing wrong with the game. It was your playstyle, that caused the problems for town, and in no small part contributed to the BH win.

The game mechanic was not 100% flawless.

Pure and simple, I blame Pede. **

It is an uphill battle for town to begin with. Fine. That is the game, I get that.

But to be Gastard, and not admit it?

Why blame Ped? The game was fine. Ostracization was a goof, but not a huge one.

Neither was/is Haggle. Meeko, the game had a lot of bad breaks for Town and very few for Scum. We had stability and active posters, most of whom had played before.

If you and two newbies were scum and the town was experienced and had less town might have won.

Meeko, if you play again, please don’t go and lynch me, Rysto, or Joey right away. It would make no sense, unless we actually do something scummy or you suspect us.

But to suggest that I would hold a grudge and / or simply not get that this game is over, and that roles are random in each game?

Ok, but seriously, People who were “committed” to this game drop out, and THAT did it (Town Loss). Right?

Ironically, those who didn’t drop out probably were > < that close being commited on my behalf.

Please, I played just as poorly as you and I have experience. But it’s tacky to go around blaming other people for your failures. Take the chance to evaluate your tactics and see what needs to be tweaked.

Mine is quite newbie friendly, so I will probably go ahead, mentioning that to draw some fresh people into it. It’s not totally for newbies, but does not contain anything complex as ostracization or anything.

I think some newer players and veterans will rather enjoy it.

In paul’s mysterious vote for Joey, he listed the names of Joey, Mahaloth, and me. I wonder if he might be thinking that since all three of us used the same PM, and I turned up scum, that therefore all of us must be scum?

Of course, that would be ludicrous; it is at least equally possible that Joey and/or Mahaloth are Town (or BH) and that I copied their PM after they had already posted it. Of course, if** Joey**, who posted the PM first, is scum, that means Mahaloth must also be, but you can’t work that logic backwards. But paul is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that is what he is thinking.

Truly, this game is getting almost painful to read. The BH have been doing a great job of nightkilling in such a way as to reduce the collective Town IQ with every kill…

It looks like if the BH have their act together, they can probably pull a last minute vote switch and put the game away.

Nope… That hadn’t occured to me. What I was thinking was that I was sure IS was town, and knew Meeko was originally town, that Peeker had originally been pure, and that there hadn’t been any BH deaths… so the numbers were such that I was convinced the three of you had to be scum. With Rysto being BH, I figured that meant that one of the three remaining was sinner, but not knowing which one, I decided that I would just let my opinion be known.
