Critique my clothing.

Exactly right. You have a fun personality, just try to incorporate it gradually into your personal style; don’t try to slam it altogether at once. Often times being subtle in fashion pays off, which seems to be a foreign concept to quite a few people.

Also, the dress may not be the most flattering fit for you, which definitely would hurt the impression people get from the overall outfit. It is kind of hard to tell with that photo, though.

OK even though I didn’t like the shoes (in the original outfit), they work with the tights and the socks. I have seen that look around and it’s cute when it’s pulled off and you do pull it off. Interestingly enough, when I visited Tokyo in 2001, everyone was wearing crazy – it seemed to me – colored socks and nylons with heels and sandaly heels and pumps, and none of the colors matched. It looked like everyone got dressed from the Goodwill bin with advice from their colorblind friend. Now, the look is popular here, and it’s grown on me.

I’m not picking on you, tesseract, but does it seem sad to anyone else that this is the state of fashion? Remember the days when clothes matched and fit? Well, me neither, because I was born in 1970, but I’ve seen pictures.

I guess being in college and nobody caring what you wear is the perfect excuse! To be honest, when I looked at the constituent parts of your outfit, my first question was going to be “what’s the theme for the fancy dress party?”

The shoes I could just about deal with, but the rest? It’s just too ugh.

Hee.

Tesseract, I just want you to know my coworkers are wondering what’s so funny… Thanks! (Awesome username, BTW)

Hey! Some of us are not fashion-challenged around here!

Ha, you’re welcome, and thanks. It really did look that way!

Um, what? On what planet is this a problem?!

I think you look adorable! Just like this girl I had a crush on in college.

Can I date you? I’m feeling nostalgic.
