So blackberry just made the stand alone messaging service available across competing OS platforms. This has resulted in a number of people on my facebook either signing up or resurrecting old pins. I like the idea, as imessage is only available on apple and i cant use it with IOS 5, the classic ipad seems to have been frozen, and with what i have been reading of IOS. 7, i can’t say that this is a bad thing.
So i put it on my HTC one, and when i get home , see if i can get it on the classic galaxy tablet. Facebook does have its own messaging app, but i am not seeing much penetration with it, possibly because of imessage.
Can BBM be run on more than one platform concurrently, and does it have the potential to be the one ring that rules them all, in the messaging sphere.
