Personally, I root for the Loch Ness Monster (pretty much any lake monster, for that matter) and Sasquatch. Mind you, I don’t hold out any strong evidence in favor of either of 'em, but I’d be happy if it turned out there really was one of either (as long as they weren’t crazed human-flesh eating monsters). 
I guess that I don’t actually believe in Nessie or Sasquatch the same way I believe in teh postal service or cable TV. It’s more like I suspend disbelief on their behalf. What krazy kritters do you persist in believing in, even though you know they probably don’t exist?
