Okay, don’t see a thread yet for this one. What did everyone think?

My question after seeing the episode–since when is Thorazine an animal tranquilizer? I had always thought it was an antipsychotic for humans.

Mostly fun episode, the A storyline was much more interesting than tha B storyline with the rock star. Fun to see William Petersen and Tom Noonan together again at last. (Noonan was the “Tooth Fairy” in Manhunter.) Lots of “Silence of the Lambs” homages, and no one doubt “Zephyr” will be heard from again.

Major SOTL themes. I had a big scare momemt when that woman ran in back of Sara in the mansion. I hate scenes like that. I kept looking over the back of the couch after that one. I did not like the dead rock star plotline at all, particularly Catherine telling the woman she thought he wrote that song for her when for me, I thought it was about the smack.

Ok, can somebody tell me how it ended? I just watched the tape, and it cut off when Grissom was looking into Zephyr’s mouth, presumable for a key to the cuffs or something?

Grissom looks into Zephyr’s mouth but doesn’t find anything, so he sends him off in the cop car. Zephyr then proceeds to regurgitate the key.

The End.

The show ran a bit past ten, slackergirl, so you weren’t the only one burned. (No pun intended.) Grissom inspected Zephyr’s mouth and found nothing suspicious. In the last scene we see Zephyr sitting in the back of the police car, handcuffed. He regurgitates a lockpick à la Houdini and we fade to black with the key sitting on his tongue.

And I see on preview that Terminus Est beat me to the punch. Dammit, I looked up the code for the accent grave and I’m gonna use it!

I thought the episode rocked. Sure, there were the usual logic holes - going alone to confront a suspect, in a big creepy house, when your hearing keeps cutting out? - but overall it was good gruesome fun. Like when Gil pulled the bones from the chopped off finger and I pictured Phil Hartman doing his Anal Retentive Chef routine. “Well, we don’t need that piece, let’s just throw that away…”

Please, God, let there not be another continuing story line about a cross-dressing evil genius serial killer. Last year’s piece of insanity about the she-male judge had me real close to dumping the show.
