They showed exactly that in the previews for next week’s episode. The brother apparently commits a murder.
And even if the killer did take the time to turn off all the lights, the CSI people didn’t even bother to simply turn them back on! I even commented to my husband last night that it drives me crazy that they hunt around houses that have working lights using flashlights all the time. It doesn’t make the least bit of sense.
I apparetnly didnt get the preview… thanks!
Sigh…and the age-old debate over whether previews should be considered spoilers continues (many of us avoid previews for just such a reason).
Did anyone else notice that after the grandmother is done beaming about her granddaughter ‘the showgirl’, he says he is working the case of the murdered showgirls. Then she says very matter of factly “oh, the ones all over the news?” So her granddaughter is a showgirl, six showgirls are murdered, and she is not even slightly concerned?
Well… if we knew the timing of it better, sure… there are ‘lots’ of showgirls in vegas, and assuming the picture hadnt been released (she was the ‘next of kin’, and she hadn’t been notified when warick got there)… so I can perfectly see that reaction.
That’s right, Warick realizes the connection from looking at the early newspaper article about those 6 - they were looking at it as a clue - , not in a news report about the 6 where their pictures are shown.
They showed the cigarette burned all the way down to the butt with just a delicate filigree of ash still attached. Seemed accurate enough to me.
You would think though, that a grandmother would pick up the phone to call her grandbaby as soon as the words “showgirl murders” were on the TV screen or newspaper. And if the girl doesn’t answer…next call to the hospitals, etc etc.
That’s what grandmother’s do!!!
Thank you. My point exactly.
Killer: “Hey! Does it LOOK like the half dozen women I killed own stock in General Electric?”
I just watched that snippet again (still on the DVR) - I could’ve swore it was still smoking last nite - but it was not… lots of ash hanging off of it… so, oh well…
