I’m definitely for Cthulhu, as all right-thinking cultists must be, but… does he meet the Constitution’s residency requirement? John McCain has already been through a little kerfuffle over his birth in the Panama Canal Zone, and I don’t think R’lyeh is U.S. territory.

Thanks… and yeah… I wrote this out of annoyance and frustration, and since the Pit seems to be the place for parody threads, as well as for general bitching/venting, it seemed like a good thing to do. Once the Democratic bickering is over with, we can look forward to months, and months, and months of Republican-Democrat bickering, and then, whee, several more years of it, until we do it all over again. It’s been something that’s been gnawing at me (like Pickman’s models), but the latest “blah blah supporters, would you vote for blah blah”, the inceasant stream of “handicap this or that” threads, the tendency of some Dopers to jump down your throat and attempt to pull out your liver if you say anything negative about their preferred candidate (let alone have the nerve to say something positive about the other candidate), and all the rest have just made me hit my saturation point.

I needed to vent some.
