Cucumbers

If I slice open a cucumber, and it’s “hollow” on the inside, is it safe to eat?

Need answer fast.

Just my opinion, but if it otherwise looks good, smells good, and there is no vermin you can see munching away on the inside - why not? (Stuff happens. Could be lack of water, not pollinated, or something else that made it hollow when growing.) . Take a taste, it could be a little bitter.
