In the latest issue of Love and Rockets, Vivan, the fiery latina, is getting married. In the first scene of the story, the bridesmaids are hurriedly gathered together and told they’re short a groomsman, so one of the bridesmaids would have to be cut. The rejected bridesmaid protested “But we stripped to ‘Sisters’ at Cheetah Torpedas! I was Danny Kaye!”
So I used my Google machine and found this was a scene from White Christmas. Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye lip-synced the song and did a little dance to it. It was totally ad-libbed and not part of the script, but they kept it in the movie. Now I’m wondering how strippers would perform to this.
