Does anyone know of any such shops in the New York area? I’ve been looking for a specific costume, but no one sells it. I’ve even looked on eBay.

That’s going to depend on what you want. If it’s all clothing of some sort or another, you can probably find hobbyists who’ll do it for a song (it helps if you’re related). If you want something full-body sculpted in latext and form-fitted to your shape, then you’re probably in the tens of thousands of dollars. And, of course, if it’s within your skill and time, it’s both cheap and fun to do it yourself.
