I saw something new today.
A CT carrying a load of construction materials. Sorta.
Tonneau was closed. There were 3 transverse raised racks over the downsloping aft half of the truck. Like you might see two of on the roof of an SUV to tie down a kayak or skis or … . They looked like a factory option or a quality 3rd party part, not homebrew.
Anyhow, carefully strapped to there was a bundle of six ~8’ x 1" lengths of EMT conduit. A heavy massive load for sure, worthy of the rugged reality of a mighty CT. [/sarcasm].
They turned off into a condo complex. Where DIY is prohibited by law, so it was probably a real contractor, not a DIY weekend warrior.
