I’m uncertain, in that case, as to why it was felt necessary to state that he was no longer a moderator.
I didn’t want people to think that they had to treat me with kid gloves in fear that I might retaliate later. I didn’t want to be Pit-proof or have people think that the mods would favor anything I did-in fact I don’t think I really communicated with them at all except through the post-reporting button. While I didn’t get any pittings, I think I got a couple unofficial warnings.
Fair enough, except that if you and Tuba, et al, knew that you were coming back, and all of us ordinary posters didn’t know that . . . well, there’s a difference there, don’t you see?
Neither I nor Tuba knew when and if I was coming back-I might have decided to stay a civvie, the Powers That Be may have decided that they were doing fine and/or dandy without me(which I fully understood when I left), or I might have esploded and blown any chance I had.
In fact, as far as I have noticed, IMHO has been moderated just fine without you. Or me, for that matter.
Your return raises hackles. I’ll have to give it some thought; maybe it’s just me. But even if it is just me, it still seems planned and orchestrated.
My plans for a revolution within the Sarcast empire are coming to fruition…
