As Czarcasm says, when he stepped down there was no definite commitment, on either side, that he would come back. Your speculation that it was “planned” is unwarranted.

He’s back … which is good.
Having worked hard on the project, it was a touch dissapointing when “Chicken of Bristol” wasn’t getting all the richly deserved publicity.
I wonder, too. I mean, I’m not sure what difference there is on whether he planned to come back or not. I’ll admit that the fact that he was sticking around, while only contributing at the levels he did when he was a mod, made me wonder if he was at least considering it.
Anyways, I really do think it seemed like the job was getting to Czarcasm before, so I’m glad he had a chance to rest. He seems like a much happier guy now. Good luck staying that way as a mod 
My first action as a moderator was getting my “title” back. 
Dude! In the last two months alone I posted over 700 times-waaay above the level I posted at when I was a mod. I suggest you do a little numbers-crunching before you suggest that I was just biding my time until my return as a moderator.
Sorry. I did not mean to imply anything negative about you. This is ATMB, and you are a mod again, so I could have if I wanted to.
And, you know what? My head hurts, and it takes forever to explain what was on my mind when I post something. So, for once, I’m not going to do it.
Just know that I did not mean to characterize it as if you were “just biding [your] time until [your] return as a moderator.” And I’m genuinely sorry that it came out that way.
