D&D4e computer games

Is it known yet what computer games will be designed (or are being designed) based on D&D 4e rules?

Nope. Too early to tell, really.

IF there is to be a Neverwinter Nights 3 it’ll almost certainly be D&D 4 though.

Although it’s not really an actual game, there should be tools available to facilitate sessions online, like a character generator and a map/chat program. It wouldn’t surprise me if those weren’t available any time soon, though.

They were part of the announcement of 4E, and yet they continue to be absent.

If Hasbro/Wizards continues their record of excellence in the software realm it will be at least six months late and won’t ever work correctly.

The forgotten realms setting for 4th Ed was written by Salvetore while he was drunk, long story short, the weave was destroyed so 90% of all powerful spellcasters have died, most of the gods are dead, and pretty much the only civilization left is the Silver Marches (I think) because they allied with the Orc King. Neverwinter, Luskan etc are all non-existant now and have been subjected to reclamation by the wilderness.

If they make a NWN3 it will be interesting to say the least, it would probably have to revolve around exploring the RUINS of Neverwinter.

Wow, that bad? Is there some place I can read about the changes to TFGR setting?
