d&r

Various people seem to use this at the end of their post. What does it mean?

Ducks and Runs.

Might want to check your diet there…

(Thank you  )

Usualy said after making some very bad joke, indicating the expectation of having rotten tomatoes (or worse) hurled in one’s direction.

A minor variation…I always thought of it as “ducking and running,” i.e., symbolizing leaving the scene of the “crime” in a sheepish manner.

Sigh. So I’ve added this to the Glossary stickie.

I dunno why the language has to change so fast, why can’t we just keep 'er frozen when I’ve got the Glossary up to date?

It’s a variation on GD&R (grinning, ducking and running)
